Part of life in Houston involves the annual Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. And an important part of Rodeo culture in line dancing.

We had a great turnout for a free line dancing class at the Lone Star College University Park campus. Brenda W., a local dance instructor, graciously offers her expertise a couple of times a year for ICX to offer some free line dance instruction.

There was lots of kicking, stepping, toe-tapping, strutting and turning. Wow, I feel a little winded just typing that.

Thanks, Brenda, for a great job. And thanks to the LSC school leaders and ESOL teachers at University Park for making the event a big success.
