We had a good group of friends together to celebrate the Lunar New Year - the year of the pig!

This is the biggest annual celebration for those who celebrate it.  We had A LOT of good food to eat - comfort food for many. Lots of good time to meet new friends and catch up with old friends.

We also heard from some of our international friends about differences in how they celebrate Lunar New Year in Mainland China, Taiwan and Vietnam.

We didn't have any fireworks to bring in the new year, but we did have token hong baos (red envelopes) for the kids and a lot of fun.
